With no browser tool, Claude Code wrote its own computer-use script

Ananth asked Claude Code, from a phone, to email two videos sitting on their PC. With its Chrome extension disconnected and Codex's computer-use tool failing, Opus 5.5 wrote a Python script that drove Chrome by screenshots and clicks, sent both emails, and saved the script for next time.

what the fck lmao.

i asked claude code to mail me two videos from my PC while i was on my phone.

its chrome extension wasn't connected, so it tried using codex's computer use tool, but it kept failing.

so opus 5.5 literally wrote its own computer use script in python, drove chrome with screenshots and mouse clicks, attached both videos and sent the emails anyway.

and then saved the script so it could use it again next time.
