One picture turned into a 3D robot beetle you can pull apart

Kitsui used Claude Opus 5.5 to model a 3D beetle from a single image, with three.js for 400 parts behind glass. The beetle opens its shells, unfolds wings and tears down piece by piece, with every click reported on the console.

Somebody take this away from me: Claude Opus 5.5 turned one picture into a 3D robot beetle i can pull to pieces.

i honestly don't understand why someone gives this away for free.

the build:

> the look comes off the picture, the rest is three.js: 7 armour plates, 4 horn segments, 400 small parts behind the glass
> before any animation opus rendered a stop frame, held it against the picture and fixed what did not match, 3 rounds of it
> the take-off is a chain: shells open to 70°, 2 wing panels unfold, the wingbeat gauge winds up to 86 Hz, then it leaves the floor
> the horn comes apart segment by segment along its curve and the eye lens unscrews ring by ring
> something is opening every 2.1 seconds and the chest teardown drops to 0.4x speed so the gears sliding out stay readable
> every click lands on the console too: the horn row flips to APART and the explode spins the turntable backwards

i'm going to keep throwing harder renders at it until something breaks and you'll see every one here.
