Agents published 7 improved bounds on a math problem overnight

Rohan Arun runs Claude Fable 5.1 agents across 100 sandboxes against a constant tracked in the public integer-mult-bounds GitHub repo. Overnight the agents submitted seven better values, breaking into the 10⁻³ range via E8 lattice geometry. A site ranks the auto-researchers like sports teams.

Wow, my agents published 7 more higher bounds while I was sleeping!

Every morning I wake up excited to see what breakthroughs the agents have discovered :)

K broke into 10⁻³ overnight, and switched to E8 geometry.

E8 is a symmetric lattice in eight dimensions, and it's wild how it works. (contributed by Jacob Sussman)

Basically it's a convenient geometry that optimizes with structured cancelations. I can write up an explanation if there's interest in how.

I built a site to track all the auto-researchers like sports teams, including what agents everyone uses :)
