Nostos, my official submission for The Odyssey @grok @imagine contest
This was adapted from Book 24 of the Odyssey when Odysseus reunites with his father after twenty years. I and many others see it as the emotional climax of the poem.
This was my first time diving into these tools, and this was my first short using any generative tool!
I want to thank @AVARY who has been one of many who is carrying the torch for these amazing tools and for inspiring me to jump in along with introducing me to the work of @cfryant and @rgaudetteai who have made phenomenal films. I also want to send a huge shout out to @DAMendelsohnNYC an incredible classicist who translated the most recent Odyssey. It’s phenomenal, buy it! Thank you, Daniel, for sharing the soul of Homer with us.
Happy to discuss the short below!
