complaining is the most dutch way of doing nothing
there's been a pothole next to our office for years - everyone complained about it nobody did anything
classic low agency behavior
so i (high agency) decided to do something about it
i took six photos, gave them to claude, and had it rebuild the pothole in 3D accurate to the millimeter then i asked what happens when a car hits it at 30km/h
it built a liability simulator
the tire drops in the rim folds the car behind brakes too late a bakfiets swerves into a delivery scooter the pizza lands on a tesla
€21,340 in damage per incident claude estimates four a month
i sent it to the gemeente slow motion with sound and a polite note asking who they'd like the invoices addressed to
two days later a road crew showed up and filled it
i'm not an activist i'm just a high agency individual with a claude subscription
Everyday life
A pothole crash simulator got the city to fill it in two days
From six photos, Claude rebuilt a years-old pothole by the office in 3D and simulated a car hitting it at 30 km/h, estimating €21,340 in damage per incident. The slow-motion video went to the municipality, and a road crew filled the hole two days later.
