A dashboard that finds and kills forgotten local servers

Tom Johnson, a staff product designer at Vercel, got tired of stray dev servers slowing the laptop down. What The Port lists every running local server with uptime and resource use, charts the spikes, auto-kills old ones and reopens the session that started it.

I've gotten tired of dealing with local servers slowing down my laptop, so I built t.co/NR1BAHZRwG to:

- see what local servers are running
- how long they've been running
- their resource use
- notify me if one spikes
- auto-kill old servers
- give easy ways to launch the local urls
- add shortcuts to the @vercel preview url, or Codex/CCode sessions that created it, and shortcuts to resume in my terminal of choice
- charts to see spikes (of course)
