A browser CAD built entirely by Claude simulates a watch movement

Solvaix asked Claude to write a browser-based CAD interface, cursor and clicks in code, then it designed a watch movement inside it. The train runs at 5,760:1, the seconds hand turns once a minute, and the balance swings at 3 Hz after Claude corrected its own mainspring error against Swiss specs.

THIS ISN'T SOLIDWORKS. CLAUDE BUILT THE WHOLE THING IN A BROWSER.

There's no CAD program running here, no plugin and no screen capture. Claude wrote the interface, the cursor and every click as code. Then it designed a watch movement inside its own fake CAD so there would be something real to model.

Each wheel in the train comes from just tooth count and size, so changing them gives you the next one. The train runs 5,760 to 1, which is why one wheel turns exactly once a minute for the seconds hand, and the balance swings at 3 Hz like a real movement. Claude also slipped once and set the mainspring about 70 times too weak. It compared that with real Swiss specs and fixed it, then moved a post that would have hit the barrel teeth.

People still argue about whether AI can design real parts. Meanwhile it can fake the whole software and still get the watch math right.
